#RoadSafetyWeek Film

Client
More Than Insurance and RSA Insurance Group

Overview:

The film narrates the story of Jason, a young man whose life was changed forever by his decision to drive under the influence. He ended up causing the death of a friend, and was jailed for two and a half years. Since then he has turned his life around and has spoken to over 40,000 teenagers about the impact this decision has had on his life, encouraging them to take a different path.

“See Change Films created a fantastically powerful story through the medium of film to warn young people about the dangers drink driving. The message was particularly hard-hitting, but I think it really gets across the seriousness of what we were trying to convey.”
-Matthew Poll, Commercial Director at More Than

Aims:

More Than and RSA Insurance Group commissioned See Change Films to produce a documentary that could be used in their road safety campaign, particularly before and during the national Road Safety Week.

The aim of this project was to produce a film that would speak directly to 16‐19 year olds. The client wanted to create a film that would make young people stop and think about their actions - particularly the devastating impact driving under influence can have.

Impact:

  • The film was launched as part of the Road Safety Week Campaign by RSA Insurance Group and More Than
  • The film has been widely distributed online and shared on social media
  • The film was also used internally for the staff of RSA and More Than
  •  As a result of the film launch Jason was invited to speak about his experience at Good Morning Britain
